Despite of financial instability, LIFT EXPO RUSSIA 2009 that had held on May 27-29, 2009 lived up in full to the bravest expectations. More than 150 participants and 5 000 visitors have received the most true information about market, concluded mutually beneficial contracts and made out future strategy of development.
The manufacturers and distributors of lifts and their components from 16 countries of the world such as Byelorussia, Germany, Turkey, Italy, China, Slovenia, Switzerland, Greece, Poland and others have taken part in this event. This is the leaders of the world market and freshers that increase their business activity.
 LIFT EXPO RUSSIA 2009 was held at new exhibition complex of All Russian Exhibition Centre (Pavilion No. 75) which had been designed in accordance with the highest international (world) requirements for the show grounds. Spacious hall, modern conference-hall and high level of technical equipment have provided participants and visitors with max comfort to work effectively.
Perspective and high growth industry of Russian Federation has been keeping high attractiveness for foreign companies
Grouped stand of Spain association (AECAE) and some companies of German association (AFAG) have taken part in this event for the first time. The visitors were able to meet Gervall’s (manufacturer of lift components), Comaq’s (mini gearless machines, overspeed governors, safety gears), Micelect’s (electronic load weighing devices), MP’s (high speed lifts, escalators and moving walks) productions. German pavilion consisted of Bernstain AG (electromechanical limit switches, door contact switches, blocking switches for lifts), Blain Hydraulics (control valves for hydraulic elevators), Langer &Laumann (remote control software, bespoken door operator for existing doors), LM Liftmaterial (multifunction lifts and components), Metallschneider (production of service lifts).
 The leaders of Russian and foreign firms of lift industry such as Scherbinka Lift Manufacturing plant, Kleemann Group, Otis, Wittur, ThyssenKrupp, Schindler and others have taken part in LIFT EXPO RUSSIA 2009.
Kleemann Group showed models of anti-seismic lifts, exclusive lifts in non-standard shafts for cottages.
If MRL W Line machine-room-less systems from Wittur have already been used on the territory of Europe, these systems to come for Russia where they are began to set in use.
 ThyssenKrupp represented new product Synergy. This is the lift system combining compactness, advanced technologies and attractive design. Model does not require special bulkhead above lift shaft so this model is easy-to-use when reconstructing and improving houses.
Korean corporation Hyundai Elevator being part of leading lift and elevator manufacturers and suppliers is new organization for Russian market. The company has been working in Russia from 2007. Hyundai Elevator showed all types of hoisting mechanism from lifts and escalators to automated parking and storing systems that had success for visitors’ constant interest.
Trast-Lift being official representative of Elex Group (Italy) showed dust-proof-and-moisture-proof lift systems for operations in aggressive and explosion hazardous environment and “clear lift” for transportation of materials for Clearness Class 1000.
